New Delhi: The date for filing returns of the financial year 2018-19 for the income tax payer, which does not fall in the rules of personal and audit rules, has been increased from one month to 31 August. The finance minister said in the statement that after considering the matter, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has increased the date of filing of income tax returns for taxpayers of this category from 31 July to 31 August. Delhi's chartered accountant RK Gaude said that a decision will facilitate the business of not coming in indispensable for personal, salaried and audit.
